Curious to see some of what 2015 will offer? I have a few teasers, but there is even more to come.
**Update. Foidel Cayon 2 review, Battle Mountain 2, MtnGLO, Insulated Double Z, Reviews are up.***
Some interesting concepts are the new Mountain Glo series of tents, with built-in lighting for a tiny weight penalty. It provides a more even lighting, without worrying about string up headlamps and lanterns.

Of course, we can’t forget the more traditional tents in their line. The Foidel 2 has two doors, two vestibules, and comes in 2 and 3 man varieties ranging from 4 lbs, 14 oz to 5 lb, 12 oz. The tents also have options for full nylon coverage, or you can unzip them to reveal more ventilation. Great for cooler environments.

The Rattlesnake 2 series is also equipped with mtnGLO, and comes in 1, 2, 3 and 4 man varieties, ranging from 3 lb 7 oz, to 6 lb 4 oz. They feature a single door on the solo model and double doors on the rest.

The Ripple Creek 2 is a new ultralight tent for the line, with mtnGLO as well. The two man shelter weighs just 3 lb, 6 oz and has a single wall section to reduce the weight. A single door and an innovative pole system help to keep the weight down, while providing lots of internal space.
The deep creek tarp, designed to provide sunshade or group shelter.

Don’t forget the Battle Mountain, the new 4 season tent that we’ve been lucky enough to review early. Full review here.
There is also the Bitter Springs, an ultralight t tent with a hoop in the front, and a very large barn door vestibule that pitches with trekking poles similar to the Super Scout. The 2 man variety is a scant 2 lb 12 oz, which is sure to become a favorite with the UL crowd.
I don’t even know how to describe the Three Islands, an ultralight 3 lb 1 oz two man shelter, with single wall sections and double wall areas with massive living space.
And there is even more. Stay tuned for more information as I get it. I’ll keep updating this page as I dig up some new information.
